Air Europa, the Latin America specialist and award wining airline,will link Montevideo andLondon three times weekly as of June 3rd with the opening of a new route.
Using a modern Airbus 330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 299 passengers, including 24 business class seats designed for maximum privacy and comfort, the route will be a gateway for UK leisure and business travellers to Uruguay´s capital and the fashionablecoastal resorts Punta del Este and Jose Ignacio.
For UK travellers, the flight to Montevideo is planned to ensurequick connectionsfrom Gatwick departing at 17.15 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays via Madrid, landing in Carrasco airportearly the following morning. The return flight from Montevideo will be at 11.45 every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
